The lifecycle of Products
Fabrication
All our production is gathered in Denmark, and all products are also prepared and shipped for delivery from Denmark.
The facade solutions are produced using only climate-friendly materials:
Only certified Greenline Aluminium is used, which is 100% collected and recycled.
Wood lamellae are only produced from FSC® or PEFC™ certified wood that is impregnated with Burnblock's Cradle to Cradle certified fire retardant. The fire retardant is sustainable and consists of 100% natural substances that are 100% biodegradable, non-toxic and VOC emission-free.

Construction phase
Facade solutions are tailored and customised for each individual project to minimise waste.
They are created as modular systems with great design freedom and flexibility. As modular elements, it is easy to expand and adapt the facade to future needs.
Special features of the facade systems are easy, fast and quality-assured installation due to the unique Plug and Play installation system, where the level of detail is top-notch.

Use phase
The facade systems require minimal maintenance and have a minimum lifespan of +30-50 years.
The thermal treatment of the wooden lamellae helps to ensure dimensional stability and longevity. Aluminium as a facade material is known for its unique lifespan, with 70% still in its first version.
The modular facade systems are designed to handle facade repairs without visible transitions, and it's easy to expand with additional Nordisk Profil louvre cladding if required.

Demolition, recycling and reuse
It is crucial for Nordisk Profil to offer products that can be easily disassembled and reused for other projects/purposes. With a focus on the "Design for Disassembly" approach, we offer facade systems where each component is designed and assembled for easy disassembly and transformation.
All components can be dismantled and reused for new products in their pure form or after processing. Just as it is possible to dismantle and reuse the facade cladding 1:1 for a new project.
Regardless of the future use of the products, greater resource efficiency and minimal environmental impact are guaranteed.
If the facade needs to be dismantled, Nordisk Profil offers a take-back scheme with collection and recycling.
