A Characterful Aluminium Facade Expression

For the Design City Kolding car park, Nordisk Profil supplied approximately 3,000 m² of facade using our open Napsu facade system.

In close collaboration with Arkitema and DS Flexhal, the solution was developed into a striking facade with aluminium lamellas that wrap around the spacious car park.

The lamellas were selected in dimensions of 92x100 mm, installed at 200 mm c/c spacing and finished with a powder-coated surface in RAL 8025. The carefully considered lamella design creates a characterful facade with a high level of detail, giving the car park its own architectural identity.

The project was designed with the aim of achieving DGNB Gold certification. The facade system contributes through its choice of materials, as Napsu is made from Greenline Aluminium^® consisting of 100% collected and recycled aluminium with documented CO_₂ values.

At the same time, Napsu has been developed with a modular structure that allows the facade to be extended and adapted over time. All components can be separated, supporting both the reuse and recycling of the individual facade elements.

Design City Kolding car park demonstrates how Napsu combines extensive design freedom with a well-considered system solution, allowing dimensions, c/c spacing, colours and details to be tailored to each individual project.
