New Architectural Landmark

The House Stigsborg in Aalborg is the district's new children's and young people's universe - a significant gathering point with crèche, kindergarten, school, leisure facilities and sports facilities both inside and outside.

With its location by the fjord and inviting design, the house has already become an architectural landmark. The construction has been carried out with a number of sustainable measures and is certified with both DGNB GOLD + HEART. You can read more about this here.

For the project, Nordisk Profil has provided facade solutions in 100% recycled aluminum.

Our open system is used for the stair installation Napsu, while the main building itself is clad with an entirely new, patented façade system that has been given the name Alufac Front.

The system is designed with concealed suspension rather than horizontal mounting rails, which gives a hovering expression and allows for large free spans, ideal for large window sections, for example.

Both systems are supplied with anodized aluminium vanes in a warm copper red colour, but the choice of colours is free, and we offer both RAL colours and powder coating.
