Architectural Rhythm in Aluminium

Aalborg is home to four car parks featuring aluminium facades, each with its own distinctive architectural expression. One of them is the Østre Havn car park, designed by Norconsult.

The facade features Nordisk Profil's Napsu system, with vertically installed aluminium lamellae in two dimensions: 30x60 mm and 60x30 mm. The alternating profiles create a dynamic architectural pattern and a varied facade expression.

Napsu offers extensive design freedom. Aluminium lamellae can be powder-coated in a wide range of RAL and NCS colours, with different gloss levels to suit the architectural vision. The system also allows aluminium to be combined with other materials, creating customised facade solutions that complement the building and its surroundings.
