When Energy Infrastructure Meets Architecture

Beautiful facade solutions are not reserved for residential buildings, offices or hotels. Even technical facilities can be transformed into distinctive architectural structures with carefully designed timber or aluminium facades.

A great example is the 80 MW electric boiler facility in Gladsaxe, Denmark, featuring Nordisk Profil's Woodfac Click facade system.

Ramboll Architecture designed a solution with thoughtful architectural details, including rounded corners and staggered lamella joints.

For this project, fire-retardant-treated thermo pine lamellae in dimensions of 34x73 mm and 73x34 mm were selected. The combination creates a varied facade expression and highlights the design flexibility of the Woodfac Click system.

Nordisk Profil provides complete facade solutions with documented end-use fire testing and classification in accordance with EN 13501-1.
