A Cohensive Timber Facade Expression

At Hørkær 8, Woodfac Click has been used as the continuous facade cladding across the three residential towers. The solution continues around the stair and elevator towers, creating a cohesive architectural expression throughout the development.

Nordisk Profil delivered the facade solution in Thermo pine with 42x42 mm lamellas and a c/c distance of 63 mm. The uniform lamella cladding adds a warm and vibrant character while creating a calm and contemporary facade expression.

Woodfac Click is developed for bespoke projects, allowing lamella dimensions, c/c spacing, timber species and detailing to be tailored to the desired architecture. This provides extensive design freedom, whether the solution comprises individual facade elements or complete facades.

The project demonstrates how a complete lamella facade can create a distinctive architectural expression for larger residential developments. The solution is also fire-approved and developed with a focus on documented quality, durability and simple installation.
